"What could be a pleasant experience, and turn into a lovely patronage due to proximity to my son’s school, turned into a really ugly experience. I feel bad for the person who worked hard on this business to only have it be ruined by the people hired to represent it. The horrible service all the other one star reviews talk about is unfortunately very true. The fourth time we came here in two days, my little baby was asleep in a heavy stroller, and I let my excited 4 year old try buying something for himself, as I stood 3 meters away, outside, guiding him. Being 4, he tried to go in front of one person, and leave without his change. The extremely annoyed shop assistant, told me, “he went in front of “everybody”” to which I smilingly shared that he was trying his autonomy and asked her to be kind to him. She repeated “well, except he passed in front of everybody” everybody being one young woman in an otherwise completely empty and quiet Monday afternoon. I smiled again and tried to share and implicate that we could be doing something fun and pleasant for a child. Anyway… some people are just miserable for other reasons, and hopefully their attitude is somehow explained by the rest of their experience in the world. To be mean to a 4 year old playing shop in an empty spot... We moved here 10 days ago, and these experiences of either being embraced or rejected mean a lot. Oh well…"
"We loved the service there. They were very welcoming to us. We even had some extra pastries 🥐 for free because they prefer to give it for customers rather than giving it away after closing. The croissant is really aqesome, but the Pistachio pastry is incomparable. It was the best pastry I had im my LIFE! The expresso is also really really good. Had a good time there ❤️🥰"
"I tried two cakes in the shop. The first grape one I wasn’t sure about it. Then the staff gave me the lemon and coconut one. It was SPLENDID! Eventually I think he didn’t charge me with everything I had over there. Because I didn’t understand 100%, I had to check my bill to realize. Thank you sir for being such a kind person, you truly made my day! If you saw this please reply with your address and I will send you a gift when I’m back in China."
